Our key activities
We conduct vision screening on leaners at quintile 1 and 2 primary schools. We refer leaners with significant refractive errors to local optometrists for full eye exam, and those with pathologic conditions to the local clinic or ophthalmologist.
We collaborate with local optometrists to receive referred leaners in their practices. Optometrists conduct full eye exam and issue a spectacle prescription to Bona Bolo.
Bona Bolo makes up spectacles for the leaners and dispense them at the school or send them to the examining optometrist for dispensing.
